"Laughter is...precious to health" (Aristotle)

I'm on holiday this week, so rather than my usual tips about overcoming your Imposter, I have a joke for you:
"How many coaches does it take to change a lightbulb?"
"One - but the lightbulb has to WANT to change..."
(I do love that joke 🤣)
One of my favourite realisations from coaching training was the power of seeing the funny side:
it is impossible for fear to co-exist with humour.
And I've seen this brilliantly recently with one of my clients:
she has successfully been using her sense of humour to bolster her mental resilience in the face of a serious external challenge... 🙌
This week, it was "Moment of Laughter Day" (on Wednesday 14th).
I am currently enjoying some of these on my holiday, storing up happy memories so I bring my brain to a positive place in the future, no matter what challenge I'm facing.
So your mission this week is to find your Moment of Laughter:
😆 remember a funny situation
😆 tell someone your favourite joke
😆 watch a film/ TV programme that makes you laugh.
I'd love to hear what your Moment of Laughter is! Email me on kirsten@kirstengoodwin.co.uk and let me know 😁
And don't forget, by doing this, you are building your brain's resilience against challenges, including the negative impact of your inner critic and Imposter 😊💪
